About the Attraction: Award winning playwright and performer, Slash Coleman is
best known for his one-man show, “The Neon Man and Me,” which premiered off-
Broadway in 2007 and is currently being produced as a PBS special. Awarded The
Groucho for best one man show in 2005, his production earned him the cover of
Style Weekly in 2006 and a Top 40 under 40 award for his artistic and philanthropic
contributions to his Richmond, Virginia community.
About the Event: Come out and participate in an amazing and inspiring evening
with Slash Coleman as he presents “Glow – The Documentary.” You’ll take part in an
intimate Q& A, hear Slash perform a select song and monologue from his award-
winning show, and learn how his courageous tale of coming to terms with the death
of his best friend led him to his dreams,
About the Film: Glow is a thirty-minute, family friendly documentary film created
by VCU filmmaker Kate Johnson and chronicles the success of Coleman’s award
winning show. Separated into seven themes, members are encouraged to explore
their connection to such topics as trust, love, God, mission power, and nourishment.
The 40-date Glow Tour is a part of Slash’s PBS-Neon Man Fundraiser. All process
from this event are tax deductible and go directly to PBS.
