The Neon Man and Me
"This show was funny and I loved the beach ball story. I liked hearing the stories about his friend Mark. It's kinda sad, but you feel good that you can hear about their lives. I just don't know what neon is. That's the only thing I didn't like." - Amanda age 8 more reviews

touching, and very funny story of one young man's struggle
to come to terms with the death of his best friend.
About the Show

stories and an original musical score that Coleman plays on his guitar. Since making it's
debut in 2005, the show has made two national tours, and played Off-Broadway. So far,
Slash has used the show to helps raise over $50,000 for non-profits organizations.
In 2004, Slash Coleman's best friend, Mark Jamison,
(a gifted neon artist from Roanoke , Virginia) died
after he was blown into a power line while hanging a
neon sign. A month after his death, Jamison's
girlfriend discovered she was pregnant. His tragic,
early death shocked and saddened the entire
community.
As a care package to the Jamison family, Coleman
created what has been called, “a joyous tribute to
friendship.”
